Online Safety
We currently subscribe to an online safety information package created by Knowsley City Learning Centres. Each month they produce an online safety newsletter, which we send out to all parents and carers. KCLC also run termly online information sessions for parents & carers, as well as sessions for staff and governors.
In addition to the newsletters and information sessions, Knowsley City Learning Centres will be creating a short video for parents/carers on a different theme each month.
May's theme is Navigating Group Chats. This video provides a quick overview on group chats, potential risks, dealing with peer pressure and using the blocking and reporting tools.
April's theme is Online Gaming. This video provides a quick overview on how to keep your child safe whilst gaming online, outlining communication risks, in game spending, age ratings and reporting tools.
