What to do if anyone develops symptoms in your household
If anyone in your household has a new persistent cough, temperature (38C or greater) or loss/change to their sense of smell/taste, children should not come to school. If you, or anyone in your household, has symptoms the household should self isolate (stay at home):
· Anyone with symptoms must self-isolate for 10 days from when their symptoms started. They should not return to school, at the end of the 10 days, until they have been clear of a temperature for 48 hours
· Anyone who does not have symptoms but live in the household, must self-isolate for 14 days from when the first person in the household started having symptoms.
· If someone has symptoms, you should book a test for that person (including children under 5). A coronavirus test can be booked from the link below or by phoning 119. Results of the test indicate whether you continue to isolate or not.
If a test result is positive the trace system begins. People who have had close contact (face to face; within a metre; physical contact; less than 2m for more than 15 mins) all isolate for 14 days.
