We enjoy going to our forest site on Fridays and learning in the outdoor environment. We explore a range of topics and often participate in team-building activities. We have enjoyed exploring the natural environment and using natural resources to create artwork.
On Thursday 13th October 2022, KS2 pupils went to Park Hall farm in Oswestry to look at the WW1 trenches to gain a better knowledge of what life was like in the war, and had a tour around the Welsh Guards' museum. This links with our history this term. They also watched the pig racing and met some of the animals on the farm.
On Wednesday 12th October, the KS2 pupils went to Catherton Common to study hedgerows with Cath Landles. After looking at various hedgerows and taking part in a range of activities, they then had their packed lunch before walking back to school via the common and footpaths.
