Our Christian Vision
"Love to learn. Learn to love"
Farlow C.E Primary is a small school with big aspirations for all members of its community. Children and adults flourish because they are encouraged to be creative in their learning and to use their talents. On a visit to our small, friendly school, you will see for yourself that...
" Little schools can do big things"
We believe that there is no ceiling on what can be achieved. This links closely with our mission statement.
"Planting seeds of happiness and achievement: Growing and learning together."
This links closely to the parable of the mustard seed (Matthew 13)
Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
Our core Christian values.
All Christian values are explored through worship and learning opportunities throughout the year. We have chosen some core Christian values, which we explore regularly, and these link to well-known parables.
The parable of the lost sheep: (Luke 15)
Perseverance and resilience-we strive for excellence and are encouraged to keep going and overcome barriers and challenges.
The Good Samaritan: (Luke 10)
These key values underpin our Christian philosophy and all members of our school community are encouraged to show tolerance, respect and compassion towards others and to develop a sense of responsibility for God's wider world.
Our stained-glass window, inspired by our visit to church and our work on Bible stories.
